Haug & Datter
01 · Why

For lending groups you build yourself.

Naboskap is for the friend group, the street, the cabin neighbors, the parents' group. Not for the whole apartment building or the entire neighborhood — just for those you actually trust enough to borrow from.

Closed, hand-picked groups. Trust comes from existing relationships. The app just relays the contact.

This is a two-and-a-half-person app studio. The daughter is two and a half and has strong opinions about everything, including which things are worth lending.

02 · How it feels

Asynchronous, not chat.

Request → notification → reply. You post «need a ladder this weekend», someone in the group answers «mine's by the garage», and you agree on a time. No direct chat, no pressure to respond instantly.

It's easy to borrow from an existing group, and slightly more friction to start one or invite people. That's a feature, not a flaw — hand-picked is the whole point.

03 · What it does

The structure for borrowing from each other.

Groups you own or are a member of. The free version lets you be in 1 group at a time; Naboskap + (one-time purchase, 59 NOK) raises the cap to 5.

Inventory — things you've listed for lending with name, photo, and a short pickup note. The same thing can be visible in multiple groups, and you choose which ones.

Requests in two styles. Open, where everyone in the group sees them, or direct, where only one specific neighbor gets the alert. Choose a delivery mode (pickup, delivery, by arrangement) and an agreed date.

Syncs via your own iCloud. No server, no analytics profile, no identifiers. Anonymous usage signals can be turned off in the app.
