01 · About the service

For the cabin you share.

Hyttepermen is an iOS application for shared cabin management. The app lets you collect checklists, shopping lists, the cabin log, maintenance and practical info in one place, and share it with family members via Apple's iCloud services. These terms apply when you use the app.

02 · Acceptance and App Store

Distributed via App Store.

By installing and using Hyttepermen you accept these terms. If you do not agree with the terms, you should not use the app.

The app is distributed via the Apple App Store. In addition to these terms, Apple's App Store Terms of Service and Apple Media Services Terms also apply.

Apple is not a party to the agreement between you and us, and is not responsible for the app or its contents.

03 · Licence and your duties

A personal licence.

You receive a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the app for as long as you comply with these terms.

You are responsible for:

· Having the lawful right to use the information and photos you enter

· Not using the app for unlawful purposes

· Not sharing cabin access with people who should not have it

· Securing your iCloud account and device with a passcode/Face ID

· Keeping backups of important data (an export function is in the Shed → Settings)

You shall not attempt to bypass security mechanisms, use the app for harassment, infringement of others' rights or anything else unlawful, or reverse-engineer, decompile or modify the app.

04 · Free and Plus

A one-time purchase, not a subscription.

The app offers one optional one-time purchase: Hyttepermen Plus, which unlocks owning multiple cabins and more participants per trip.

There are no subscriptions. All core features are available without purchase, and joining someone else's cabin is always free.

The price in your local currency is shown in the App Store purchase dialog. Plus follows your Apple ID and can be restored on new devices via "Restore purchases".

05 · Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple.

Purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store, and refunds follow Apple's policies. Request a refund via reportaproblem.apple.com.

Hyttepermen cannot itself refund purchases made through the App Store.

06 · Your content

The cabin content belongs to you.

You keep all rights to the content you enter (text, photos, audio, drawings). We receive no rights to your content.

The content is stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. We have no access to it.

07 · Shared cabins

Roles and membership.

When you create or join a shared cabin, the cabin data is available to all members via Apple's CloudKit Sharing. You decide who you invite.

· As the cabin owner you can change roles and remove members from the cabin.

· As family or a guest you can leave a shared cabin at any time.

Content shared with other members is not automatically deleted when you leave the cabin. The cabin owner controls this.

08 · Availability and liability

"As is", not a guarantee.

We provide the app "as is", without warranties. We do our best to keep the app working, but cannot guarantee that it is always error-free, that iCloud sync always works (it depends on Apple's services), or that the app is compatible with future iOS versions.

The iCloud services are provided by Apple Inc. Outages or errors in iCloud are Apple's responsibility.

We are not liable for loss of data caused by errors in iCloud, your equipment or your internet connection, for indirect or consequential losses, or for unauthorised access to your iCloud account. Our total liability towards you is limited to the amount you may have paid for the app in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights under mandatory law.

09 · Changes, termination and deletion

Material changes are announced.

We may update, change or discontinue features in the app. Material changes are announced via the App Store update or in the app. These terms may also be updated. Material changes to the terms are announced in the app, and the current version is always available in the app and on this page.

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach the terms.

You can delete all your data from the app at any time via the Shed → Settings → Delete all my data. This deletes all data from the device, from your iCloud account and from any invite codes. The action cannot be undone.

You can also delete the app from your device. Data in your private iCloud remains there until you actively delete it or turn off iCloud sync for Hyttepermen.

10 · Governing law and contact

Norwegian law, Drammen District Court.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes are sought resolved amicably. If no agreement is reached, the dispute may be brought before the Norwegian courts with Drammen District Court (Drammen tingrett) as the legal venue. For consumers, mandatory rules on venue and choice of law under consumer legislation apply.
